Global innovation leader, Epson, widens its lead in the Philippine home and business solutions industry with a whopping market share in the dot matrix printer, inkjet printer, and projector category.
The Undisputed Leader in the Dot Matrix Category
According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), Epson leveraged a market share of 97 percent in the Dot Matrix category in 2013, establishing an undeniable lead in the aforementioned printer sector.
Epson Philippines has remained unchallenged in the Dot Matrix category since 1998, and is continuing to provide top-level printers with superior speed and consistency.

The Number 1 Inkjet Printer
Epson retained its top spot with a 33.1 percent value (USD) share in the Inkjet copy peripherals market category, achieving a back to back feat in the Philippine printer market.
This latest market development was prompted by the outstanding performance of Epson’s flagship L-series printers. The L series, the first and only genuine ink tank system printer in the world, posted a 104.2 percent growth from the preceding year in Value (USD) in 2013.
The Leading Projector Brand
In lieu of the 25th anniversary of its proprietary 3LCD projector technology, Epson celebrates being the top projector brand in the Philippines with a 31.84 percent market share, based on a report by FutureSource Consulting. Another unparalleled success, Epson is also celebrating being the World’s No. 1 in the projector category for 13 consecutive years.
