Epson’s new 44-inch and 64-inch models of the SureColor SC-B6070 are the first large format sign printers in the world to feature high-capacity ink tanks, which are capable of carrying up to 1.5 liters.
Designed for high-quality indoor signage printing, the ink tanks of the two new SureColor models use original Epson dye-based inks. These can be refilled even while the printers are in operation, whereas third-party ink tanks would require one to stop the printer’s operation before they can be refilled. Refill packs contain 1 liter of ink.
Both the 44-inch and 64-inch SureColor SC-B6070 models are equipped with Epson’s Micro Piezo Think Film Piezo (TFP) print head that is able to print at 720dpi in a single pass. It can deliver a 1440 x 1440dpi printing resolution with a speed of up to 69.5m2 per hour.
Additionally, the ink tanks have a filter that prevents contamination of the print head.
The 44-inch SureColor SC-B6070 sells for PHP 340,900, while the 64-inch SureColor SC-B7070 is available for PHP 799,900.
