Epson recently won the Silver Award for Excellence in Integrated Marketing (B2B) at the prestigious Marketing Excellence Award 2015 in Singapore.
The award recognizes the success of Epson’s brand campaign for interactive projectors in effectively communicating its marketing messages to its target audience to achieve business objectives within Southeast Asia.
The Marketing Excellence Awards is Singapore’s premier event recognizing excellence across the marketing communications services industry. The Integrated Marketing (B2B) category at the award recognizes the best organization that effectively engages its B2B partners through an integrated marketing strategy, which employs a suite of marketing tools and media channels while driving core business objectives.
Epson’s market share for projectors increased from 46-percent in FY14, to 55.6-percent in FY15Q1, after the launch of the brand campaign for interactive projectors–the 9.6-percent growth is the highest incremental percentage growth since 2011, when the interactive projectors were launched.
The ‘Masters of Innovation’ brand campaign for interactive projectors utilized a combination of integrated media to increase awareness of Epson’s interactive projectors and the learning and collaboration opportunities for schools and businesses–print advertorials; strategic out-of-home billboard sites at key IT malls and traffic junctions; as well as integrated digital content involving a microsite, customer story videos and social media were leveraged to effectively communicate key messages aimed at challenging the conventional means of presenting. Epson’s latest range of interactive projectors is the world’s first 3LCD fingertouch projectors.
“We are encouraged by the increased growth in sales and awareness of our interactive projectors within the education and corporate sectors, and are excited about the possibilities that our projectors can bring in enhancing communication and collaboration in discussions, across different geographical locations. Winning the award is a reflection of the success of our interactive projectors, and we look forward to further growing the market within Southeast Asia,” said Siew Jin Kiat, General Manager, Printer & Visual Products, Epson Singapore.
