Give your techie friends and family a gift to trump all gifts with these multi-mode Yoga devices from Lenovo. With two tablets and one laptop to choose from, you’ll surely be the best Secret Santa/Monito/Monita your loved ones will remember years from now.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2
Taking after Lenovo’s original multi-mode tablet is the Yoga Tablet 2. Besides spec upgrades for better performance – an Intel Atom quad-core processor and front-facing Dolby dual speakers are in the fold – this sleek device also incorporates a fourth mode, dubbed Hang, in addition to the three original ones named Hold, Tilt, and Stand.
The newest mode allows the tablet to hang when viewing multimedia so your hands can be used for other things. This adds a new dimension of usability to the Yoga’s innovative side-mounted battery cylinder and improved kickstand. The latter provides increased stability in Stand mode when users are tapping away at the 10-point multi-touch screen.
Available in 8-inch and 10-inch models, both models boast a monster battery life of up to 18 hours, basically allowing them to function as power banks for your not-as-long-lasting smartphone.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro
The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro undoubtedly stands out from the rest of its competitors because of its built-in Pico projector that projects a 50-inch large display on any wall or ceiling. Paired with 8W JBL twin front-facing speakers, 5W bass subwoofer, and Dolby Surround Sound, you can turn any dark room into an on-the-fly home cinema.
An impressive Quad HD (QHD) screen with 2560×1440 resolution; 4G LTE option; 9,600mAh battery;8MP rear and 1.6MP front camera; and an Intel processor round up this unique tablet’s offerings, of course with the Hold, Tilt, Stand, and Hang modes available for your convenience.
Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro
As opposed to the previous two, the Yoga 3 Pro is a pencil-thin laptop hinging on (get it?) Lenovo’s multi-mode design. Available in either a platinum silver or champagne gold colors, this convertible computer is a mere 12.88mm thick and 1.19kg light.
Its Laptop, Stand, Tent, and Tablet modes are made possible by its watchband-inspired hinge built from 800 steel pieces and aluminum with a total of six focus points.
Additionally, it comes preinstalled with an intuitive software that learns how you use your laptop and suggests new ways to get more out of it. With features including a QHD wide-view touchscreen display, intelligent audio, and long battery life, you have enough performance power for both productivity and entertainment.
