Hewlett-Packard (HP) unveils their new multifunction printers (MFPs) and scanners providing increased productivity yet reduced costs. The new MFPs are designed with more features to help small-to-medium businesses and enterprises improve efficiency without having to sacrifice quality.

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M521 series (available in dn or dw) features top printing speed and paper capacity. The MFP-M521 series comes with a scan-to-cloud capability, ensuring easy capture and route key documents to its users. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP Color M570 minimizes user intervention with an equally high paper capacity (1100 sheets). The series’ additional features include a dual-headed scanner for faster duplex jobs processing, and to address businesses mobility needs an HP ePrint and wireless direct print is added. Both MFPs offer print scan, copy and fax capabilities to help customers maximize their print investment by getting more functionality from one device.

Entering the enterprise-class device category of the market, the HP LaserJet Enterprise M725 comes with an 8-inch color touchscreen for previewing, editing, and digitally sending documents along with various features. It provides secure (it comes with an encrypted hard-disk), large-volume printing and imaging capabilities for enterprise workgroups at a reasonable price.

The HP Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner is an easy-to-use, intuitive scanner with a small footprint for SMBs. Its HP EveryPage Ultrasonic multifeed detection prevents more than one page from being scanned at a time. The HP Scanjet 200 Photo Scanner is a low-cost, compact device able to capture fine details up to 2400×4800 dpi. It comes with a floating hinged lid which makes scanning books, magazines, and other bound materials easier. Both scanners offer fast, easy scanning capabilities to help organizations incorporate paper documents into digital workflows and easily search for information.

Furthermore, HP throws in another card with the new HP Jetdirect 695nw Print Server and HP Jetdirect 640n Print Server which enables legacy LaserJet printers to freely connect wirelessly over a network in a secured environment.

“Organizations are constantly looking for new ways to increase workforce productivity without exceeding their budget,” said Karen Barrios, HP LaserJet and Enterprise  Solutions Market Development Manager. “HP’s newest printing and imaging technologies empower business customers to build a connected, virtual workspace at greater cost savings than ever before.”
