Huawei recently formalized a Deed of Donation for the benefit of the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. and its project, The Mind Museum. The financial aid will be used for the upcoming Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres (ASPAC) 2015 Annual Convention that for the first time will take place at The Mind Museum, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on April 27 to 30, 2015.
ASPAC is an annual gathering of science communicators, museum and science center officials, and science exhibitors from the Asia Pacific region. A total of 200 global science practitioners will attend the four-day conference at The Mind Museum to discuss inspirational science communication.
Present during the contract signing were senior officials of Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. headed by Trustee Carlos S. Rufino, Carlos and Managing Director Manuel A. Blas II as well as its Chief Financial Officer Lourdes R. Reyes. Huawei was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Gavin Dai and Huawei Regional Public Affairs & Communications Director, Austin Zhang.

We are glad to know that Huawei supports efforts to improve learning through interactive and inspirational science exhibits such as what we have in The Mind Museum. The Mind Museum is the first world-class science museum in the Philippines and was built solely from private donations.” said Mr. Carlos Rufino.
