Oppo officially launched the F3 smart phone in a star-studded gala at Conrad Manila last May 4.
The launch party featured big names in Philippine show business led by endorsers Sarah Geronimo and Alden Richards, and was hosted by collegiate volleyball sensation Gretchen Ho.
The line-up of stars included Jasmine Curtis, Robi Domingo, Max Collins, Rocco Nacino, Bea Binene, Ruru Madrid, Joshua Garcia, Kris Bernal and Ella Cruz.
The Oppo F3, like the larger F3 Plus carries the company’s “selfie expert” banner with the dual front-facing camera set-up that includes a 16-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel wide angle “groufie” lens. In the rear is a 13-megapixel main camera.
It sports a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, and runs on a Mediatek MT6750T processor with eight cores. Memory-wise, the F3 has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of on-board storage that could be expanded further via a microSD card up to 128 GB. The phone also has a solid-state fingerprint scanner which serves as the Home button, and a 3200 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging.
The phone is available in gold and rose gold colors for a suggested retail price of PHP 16,990. It is available for pre-order starting today, May 5 to the 12th, and arrives in stores on the 13th.
