On January 8, Jabra announced that all its leading headsets and speakerphones would now offer fully integrated call-control with the latest Cisco Jabber 9.6 for Windows.

Jabra is the first headset brand to complete the Cisco certification process. Through which Jabra is able to provide a complete USB, Bluetooth and DECT offering on key audio devices. Notably, Jabra was also the first to launch the PC Suite based call-control for the Cisco Jabber 9.2.

“Building on Cisco’s software and Jabra’s headsets, businesses will have a broader portfolio of validated solutions designed to meet their individual needs and budget requirements,” said Holger Reisinger, Jabra Vice President of Marketing, Products and Alliances, and continued “Jabra is dedicated to enhancing the user experience by developing audio devices that allow customers to appreciate the full collaborative value of unified communication, regardless of where they work or how they connect to the network.”

The ‘built-in’ Jabra driver will allow for seamless installation, without the external drivers http://www.jabra.com/business-solutions/for-your-platform/cisco to complicate a mass-deployment.
