Lenovo has recently launched its newest line of versatile smartphones, the S-series. A continued effort of offering innovative and value-for-money products, the S-series debuts in the Philippine mobile market fresh from its reveal at CES 2014.
Michael Ngan, Country General Manager of Lenovo Philippines, explains the reason behind the launch of the new S-series, saying “Smartphones have already become fully integrated into the daily lives of Filipinos. We are making premium gadgets like the Lenovo S650 and S930 series available to more people so they can experience the best that high technology can offer without leaving a hole in their pockets.”
Lenovo S650
The Lenovo S650 attracts with its silver, laser-etched fabric-feel and comfortable grip. The handset is a well-rounded Dual-SIM smartphone that is 8.7mm thin. It packs a MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad Core processor, Android 4.2 Jellybean OS with 1G RAM, 4.7-inch capacitive screen, 8-megapixel rear-facing auto-focused camera with LED and flash, and a 0.3 Megapixel front-facing camera.
Lenovo S930
The S930 was awarded as one of the ten show stopping smartphones at the recently held CES. It is a super-sized smartphone that offers maximum viewing enjoyment with its 6-inch HD capacitive screen. It is powered by the new MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad Core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The S930 also sports two front-facing speakers, directional sensors to support 3D game play, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.6-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera. Internally, it has 8GB of memory and may be expanded up to 32GB via its micro-SD slot. Its 3000 mAh (Li-polymer) battery can last up to 10 hours of talk time (3G).
Pricing and Availability
The S-series smartphones are now available at Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores in Metro Manila, Gaisano Mall in Davao and Ayala Center in Cebu as well as at all authorized dealers of Open Communications, Lenovo’s exclusive smartphone distributor in the Philippines. The Lenovo S650 is being sold at PHP 9,999 while the Lenovo S930 is being sold at PHP 14,999.
