Back in the 90’s, you weren’t a real kid if you didn’t have a Tamagotchi of your very own to accidentally kill take care of. Well, we have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that Namco Bandai has released an official Tamagotchi Android app to celebrate the digital pet’s 16 year anniversary. The new app allows you to do everything you were able to with the game and throws in a couple of new features which includes color, improved image resolution and Facebook sharing. The bad news is that while it’s available for free at the Google Play store, it’s currently not available for our country, the Philippines, which is kind of a bummer, especially since we’re pretty sure there’s tons of Generation Y kids out there just wanting to play with their old pals again.
