    Documenting daily activities through photos has become a trend. Cameras, has since then entered the mainstream market. A reputable name in the imaging industry, Nikon continues to innovate cutting-edge products that appeal to the general public, hobbyist, and photography professionals.

    Intricately crafted to produce outstanding quality, Nikon, on March 25, introduced its proud product line-up for 2014.

    The New Nikon D4S

    Nikon’s proud flagship model, the new D4S is a full-framed DSLR designed to produce superior image and video quality with exceptional focusing accuracy.

    In addition to the four time-tested modes available with the D4 the D4S offers a fifth AF-area mode, the Group-area AF (which uses 5 focus points: one specified by the user, as well as one each above, below, to the left, and to the right of the selected focus point). This mode enables not only smoother autofocusing, but also a faster workflow with continuous shooting at approximately 11 fps with AF and AE tracking.

    It also boasts a new EXPEED 4 image-processing engine, together with a new Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor, and an effective pixel count of 16.2-million pixels enable photographers to capture images with stunning sharpness, enhanced depth, and natural skin tones.

    The New Nikon D610

    The all-new D610 is Nikon’s smallest and lightest full-frame format D-SLR to date. With a compact form factor, the D610 caters to users who are new to the FX-format.  It is equipped with exclusive first-rate Nikon technology, including a 24.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 3 image processing engine, along with an ISO range of 100 to 6400 (expandable from 50 to 25,600), to deliver exceptional image quality.

    The D610 features an improved shutter release mode that allows for an uninterrupted stream of images at approximately 6 frames per second and introduces new innovations such as the Quiet Continuous shutter release mode for near-silent shooting. Making it a versatile camera, the D610 is compatible with an expanding line-up of accessories including the Wireless Mobile Adapter WU-1b for wireless connectivity and range of Speedlights.

    A Whole New Array of Cameras

    Along with the D4S and D610, Nikon redefines the imaging industry with brand new releases.

    The four new COOLPIX L-series, L830, L330, L30 and L29, are crafted with an emphasis on ease of use and functions that make these digital cameras fun to use. The cameras are powered by AA batteries.

    The COOLPIX P-series models, the P600, P530, and P340, is a line of multi-functional, high-performance compact digital cameras that enable full-scale photography.

    The Nikon 1 AW1 is an advanced camera with interchangeable lenses that is waterproof to 15 m (JIS/IEC Class 8 (IPX8) equivalent) and can withstand the shock of a fall from up to 2 m (MIL-STD-810F Method 516.5: Shock standard compliant).

    A waterproof, shock-proof and cold-resistant model, the Nikon AW120 is equipped with a wide-angle 24mm zoom NIKKOR lens and offering a maximum aperture of f/2.8 fast enough for shooting underwater and in dark surroundings, as well as a number of advanced outdoor functions

    Last but not the least is the new Nikon D3300. It is a DX-format model featuring advanced technology that enables the capture of high-quality images easily, even for first time users. The compact and lightweight camera is equipped with a high resolution 24.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor with the optical low-pass filter removed and the latest EXPEED 4 image processing system to deliver stellar image and video quality.
