It seems Samsung is trying to leverage available resources to redeem itself: the Galaxy S8 will be bundled with a pair of AKG by Harman headphones.
Following the official unveiling of the S8 and S8+, Samsung released an official statement stating that a pair of high-performance in-ear headphones, tuned by AKG by Harman and priced at USD 99, will come as an in-box accessory for every purchase of the S8 and its Plus version.
The headphones will have a hybrid canal fit for better noise cancellation and the wire will be coated in a tangle-free, metal-fabric material.
Samsung announced in November of last year that it will be all Harman International Industries, Inc. from its automotive connected products, enterprise automation and connected services, to its large portfolio of audio brands including AKG, Harman/Kardon, JBL, AMX, Crown Audio, and Studer among others.
The sale of HARMAN to Samsung was completed on March 10 of this year.
