SM Prime Holdings Inc., recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Omni Digital Media Ventures Inc.; a joint venture that sees the migration of movies to Video on Demand (VOD) via Blink.
Blink, is video on demand technology that allows consumers to watch a variety of media content using their gadgets. With this, consumers get access to Blink’s film library of various genres and TV series’ bringing the maximum convenience to the customers.
The partnership brings the two entertainment giants, SM Lifestyle & Entertainment Inc., the largest cinema exhibitor in the country, and Solar Entertainment Corp., the number one cable company, to come together for MOU that will extend the lifecycle of movies from cinemas to the VOD space.
