Starmobile achieved several milestones with its Up Ultra, Engage 7i, and Play Neo last 2015. The Up Ultra became its fastest selling LTE smartphone ever, the 7i was the company’s best-selling tablet, and the Play Neo was Q4 2015’s hottest smartphone in the PHP 2,000 to 2,999 segment.
“The company attributes the strong sales of these devices to its strategy of providing high-quality tech products at an accessible price, then sweetening the deal even further by delivering amazing free data offers exclusive to our customers,” said Michael Chen, Starmobile product development head. “With this approach, we have been able to differentiate ourselves as a Filipino tech company while fulfilling our customers’ demand for a richer and more complete mobile experience that had previously not been available in the market.”
The three devices are included in the brand’s Super Pack offering, a bundle made in partnership with Smart Communications that includes free data allocation out of the box.
“With their free data allocation for each month, our users can stay connected to friends through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Viber, watch blockbusters on iFlix, listen to their favorite tunes on Spinnr, play cool games like Clash of Clans, among other things, all on the go,” said Chen. “The value of the free data bundled with our Starmobile devices is almost equivalent to getting the phone for free!”
In the pack, the Engage 7i tablet will be available for PHP 3,990 with free data of 200 MB per month for surfing and other apps for six months; the Play Neo will cost PHP 2,990 with free data of 700 MB with each monthly PHP 150 top up, all for a whole year; and the Up Ultra will sell for PHP 6,490 with free data of 700 MB per month for a whole year, again with a cumulative top up of PHP 150 per month. The Up Ultra will also be bundled with six months of free access to iFlix.
The Starmobile Engage 7i, Play Neo, and UP Ultra are available in Starmobile stores and resellers nationwide.
