On June 22, the Motorcycle division of Suzuki Philippines, Inc hosted its Suzuki dealer convention and awards night at Solaire Resort and Casino Manila as a tribute and appreciation to the unwavering support they received from their dealer business partners to advance in the market amidst the competition.
Suzuki’s red carpet themed event dubbed as “Strength of the Past, Force of the Future” gave recognition to the forces behind the brand’s strength: its people, the customers, and its dealer partners.
The awards were divided into five categories, topped by the 2012 Dealer of the Year Award. It acknowledged the dealers who exerted the most effort and had an exceptional record of sales in 2012.
In addition, it recognized the milestones that Suzuki Philippines had achieved under the leadership of former President Satoshi Uchida.
“This year, the ‘Force of the Future’ comes with reinforced business directions & programs, product innovations, new leadership, and a continued partnership with our dealer partners – for being the faces of Suzuki Philippines – at their showrooms, with their people, Filipinos are able to experience the Suzuki Way of Life – one of trust, reliability, and enjoyment,” said Mr. Eiji Kobayashi, General Manager for Motorcycle Sales and Marketing Division during his Welcome Remarks.
The night of entertainment, glamour, and commencement, aimed to create an impact in the industry, demonstrating the strong confidence they have in the future. This was to re-assure its dealers of its continuity in direction and passion. President Hiroshi Suzuki said in his speech, “Suzuki Motor Corporation has newly set a global slogan “Create a Wow”. My mission as President of SPH, is to create lots of Wows beyond the customer’s expectation together with all of our dealer partners.”
SPH dealers experienced that “wow” as they got a peek of what’s in store in the future for the new motorcycle units in the pipeline coming this 2013. The line-up is said to change the landscape of competition by bringing reliable, innovative, stylish yet affordable motorcycles for the Filipinos, sustained by sales and marketing efforts throughout the year.
The event was hosted by Gretchen Fullido together with some SPH managers. Award winning dance troupe Zilent Overload gave vibrant colors to the event, while internationally awarded Mandaluyong Children’s choir serenade the audience with their acapella rendition of SPH’s “Astig ka sa Suzuki” song.
