    Three days of intense combat at Razer HQ in Singapore has produced a winner for the Capcom Cup Asia Finals 2013. After the dust had settled, one fighter emerged at the top. Eng Ghim Kee also known as “Gackt” took home first prize at the event, with Team Razer’s  own Keita “Fuudo” Ai taking second position. Both fighters will be representing the region at the Grand Finals which will be held in Northern California this December.

    Featuring Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition in this tournament, a series of qualifiers were held in Korea, Taiwan and Singapore with the top six challengers from those qualifiers battling out at the Capcom Cup Asia Finals held in Singapore from November 8 to November 10.

    Razer, the official organizer of the Capcom Cup Asia Finals 2013, was represented by co-founder, CEO and creative director Min-Liang Tan and accompanied by Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono. Both were present during the final event to support  the players and celebrate the success of the event.

    “All the finalists have exhibited incredible level of skills and Fuudo has definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, dedication and passion,” said Min-Liang Tan. “We are proud to have sponsored the Capcom Cup Asia Finals and we are encouraged by the community to do more for fighting game scene in 2014.”
