    There’s something for everyone at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) as a host of various activities are lined up to entertain not only motor heads and car enthusiasts, but also their families and children.

    Set to be held on September 18 to 21 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, event organizer Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) has prepared games, treasure hunts, and pedal go-karts to spread the love for automobiles throughout all age demographics. With these, the 5th PIMS is shaping up to be the ultimate bonding destination for families and friends.

    The list of activities include:

    Pedal Go-Karts and other Motoring-Inspired Games 

    Pedal Go-Kart 3

    This is undoubtedly going to be one of the more crowded engagements in the event. Booths for kiddie “Pedal Go-Kart”, Pit-Stop Challenge, Fan-Belt Toss, and other motoring-themed activities will surely give guests their dose of adrenaline rush and entertainment.

    Scale-Model Displays

    Scale Model Die-Cast

    Locally-based die-cast and scale-model organizations will be presenting their own motor show featuring miniature replicas of the same car brands participating in this year’s PIMS.

    The Automotive Designers’ Row is a PIMS tradition that seeks to teach visitors about the innovative and brilliant minds behind some of the automotive industry’s most ingenious and revolutionary ideas.

    Treasure Hunt for Kids

    An automotive-themed Treasure Hunt and Trivia Game will have kids learning more about cars in the most engaging way possible.

     

    The additional activities below will have both enthusiasts and newbies engrossed in the motoring world.

    Latest Tech Innovations and Displays

    Exhibitor Presentation

    16 participating automotive manufacturers will have brand exhibitions and interactive demos especially prepared for visitors. The following companies will also showcase their latest nameplates and driving technologies: BAIC, BMW, Daewoo, Honda, Isuzu, JMC, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

    “Progress in Motion” Exhibit

    See how far automotive technology has come with a crash course on the local motoring history. PIMS will put on display 12 iconic vehicles representing eras past up to the present.

    After-Sales Pavilion

    You have your vanilla car but you’ve no idea where to go on from there? The PIMS After-Sales exhibit will give you modding ideas as they showcase packages on vehicle upgrades, repair services, and top-notch authentic parts for all kinds of automobiles.

    Automotive Seminars and Workshops

    Beginners and veterans alike will enjoy the educational sessions prepared by CAMPI dealing with advocacies and topics such as road safety, environmental protection, consumer rights, fuel-saving tips, anti-carjack measures, and a tried-and-tested guide for vehicle registration and driver’s license application.

    Car Club Meets

    Associated clubs of the participating automobile companies will hold meets during the 5th PIMS. This will feature the fellowship of the members as well as the most gorgeous and stunning vehicles-turned-art.

    Test Drives and Food Truck Fever

    Outside the venue, visitors will be given the opportunity to test drive the different vehicles offered by the participating brands. Guests need not worry about going empty while touring the entire show as a wide range of food choices will ensure that they’re all fuelled up and ready to go.
