    Western Digital Corporation (WDC) has announced that it is giving its portfolio of Network Attached Storages, external hard drives, and internal platter drives the 8 TB upgrade throughout the first half of 2016.

    Specifically, the following products will be shipping with 8 TB options: My Cloud, My Cloud Mirror, My Cloud EX2 Ultra, My Book, My Book for Mac, My Book Duo, My Book Pro, WD Red, WD Red Pro, and WD Purple. These will also arrive with HelioSeal helium-technology for maximum performance and longer durability.
