There were days we used to have several log-in names for each of the sites visited every day. Those days have left us. Today, you can easily access almost any website and skip the process of creating a new account just by linking either your Facebook or Google account with it. It seems though, that Yahoo is no longer happy with this arrangement.
It is confirmed by no less than Yahoo ,that if you want to continue using Yahoo products, you’ll need a Yahoo account to sign-in. Reuters reported that Yahoo will start the removal of the “Log-in with Facebook” and Google buttons on all Yahoo pages; which has been present for years already.
Yahoo believes that their company’s services are engaging enough to draw users to switch from Facebook or Google. The company, however, did not disclose the reason behind the decision of disconnecting their products from Google and Facebook.
