PLDT Global Corporation, the international business unit of PLDT, reported a 26% year-on-year increase in net service revenues during the first quarter of 2026, supported by continued growth in its enterprise business and rising demand from hyperscalers and global digital platforms.
The company said its strong start to the year reflects sustained momentum in enterprise services, alongside improving operational performance in its carrier voice business. Together, these businesses continue to support the broader enterprise growth strategy of the PLDT Group.
Hyperscaler demand fuels enterprise growth
PLDT Global attributed much of its first-quarter performance to growing demand from hyperscalers, whose expanding cloud and digital infrastructure requirements continue to drive the need for high-capacity international connectivity.
The company reported increased adoption of its International Private Leased Circuit Services (IPLCS) and colocation solutions as global technology companies expand their operations across Asia and other strategic markets.
PLDT Global also secured new strategic agreements with hyperscalers, content providers, and multinational enterprises. These contracts are expected to contribute additional revenues throughout 2026 and strengthen the company’s long-term growth pipeline.
Strategic partnerships support long-term expansion
Albert V. Villa-Real, president and CEO of PLDT Global, said the company’s continued momentum reflects both the strength of its international network infrastructure and its ability to deliver reliable connectivity services to global customers.
“Our continued growth in serving hyperscalers and global digital platforms reflects not only the strength of PLDT Global’s network infrastructure and strategic geographic positioning, but also our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class, reliable connectivity solutions,” Villa-Real said.
He added that the company remains focused on expanding its enterprise business, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving operational excellence to support sustainable growth while enabling the next wave of global digital innovation.
Carrier voice business remains resilient
Alongside enterprise growth, PLDT Global said its carrier voice business continued to demonstrate operational resilience. The decline in carrier voice revenues eased to 8% year on year, reflecting ongoing cost discipline and business optimization initiatives.
The company expects its growing enterprise portfolio, supported by rising demand for cloud connectivity and digital infrastructure, to remain a key contributor to its performance through the remainder of 2026.
