Fitbit packed in a ton of features into the recently-launched and stylishly low profile Alta HR, the world’s slimmest fitness wristband yet.
With a 25 percent slimmer design than the Charge 2, the Alta HR gets boosted with continuous heart rate monitoring compared to its previous iteration. This allows users to get better calorie measurement, see real-time heart zones to gauge workout intensity, and actively view their resting heart rates on the device.
Heart monitoring also enables the Alta HR to make full use of the Fitbit app’s sleep tracking function. The recent update to the app enables it to monitor sleep stages from light, to REM, to deep sleep, and give insights and personalized guidance on how to improve sleeping habits for better health.
Other features include a longer battery life (up to seven days of regular use), an OLED tap display, an IP67 splash-proof rating, all-day activity tracking with automatic exercise recognition, smartphone notifications, reminders to move, wireless syncing, and interchangeable bands.
The Fitbit Alta HR retails for PHP 8,495 and is available in black, blue grey, fuchsia, and coral. The special edition gunmetal black and soft pink with rose gold pebble variants cost PHP 9,690. Luxe leather bands are available in brown, lavender and indigo for PHP 3,380 while the luxe stainless steel bracelet is priced at PHP 4,950.
