While the new Ryzen and Radeon SKUs have been available on shelves for about a month now, AMD has finally gotten to launch it to members of the press and distributors at a huge event in Quezon City yesterday.
Representatives from AMD’s regional office were present and extremely pleased to formally show off the Philippine lineup of processors and video cards.
At the top of the list are the new Radeon graphics cards. The RX5700 delivers superior 1440 graphics, and raises the bar for gaming with the all-new RDNA architecture. With PCIe 4.0 support, 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, users get up to 1.5 times the performance per watt over the previous generation. With additional features such as Radeon Image Sharpening, that gives significantly increased image fidelity at virtually no performance hit, and Radeon Anti-Lag that cuts down the input-to-display times, for that little edge you need for eSports. The Radeon RX5700, and Radeon RX5700 XT are available now for PHP 20,873, and PHP 24,461 respectively.
The third generation Ryzen processors were also officially announced, with Zen 2 7nm process technology for superb performance-per-watt particularly over the competition. Whether it’s straight-up gaming, streaming, or content creation, these new processors bring superb value for money to the PC segment.
The prices for the Ryzen processors are as follows:
Ryzen 3200G – PHP 5,900
Ryzen 3400G – PHP 9,275
