Fun, Flicks for the Whole Family in Araneta Center this Halloween

    Kids and kids at heart will definitely have a grand time at the Araneta Center this Halloween season with a flurry of activities that range from the spectacular to the spook-tacular.  

    The celebrations will reach thrilling new level as the activities run not just for one day, but for two weekends this October.

    Spooky and adventurous family-friendly films get the ball rolling in Gateway Cineplex’s “Hallowkiddies Film Fest” on October 13 and 14. For a minimum purchase of P500 at the Rustan’s Kids Department at the Gateway Mall and its booth at the cinema lobby, a shopper may claim one ticket to any of these participating movies: “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation,” “Small Foot,” “The House With A Clock In Its Walls,” and “Venom.”

    Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation returns exclusively to the Gateway Cineplex in time for Halloween. Dubbed as the “threequel,” the movie earned praises for its striking visuals and pleasing humor. Small Foot, The House With a Clock in its Walls, and Venom, meanwhile, have all been proven to be box-office hits worldwide.

    There are no tricks, and only treats as the fun spills on to October 26 to 28 in Araneta Center’s Halloween Sale. Shoppers can expect huge discounts and awesome deals when they shop at the Gateway Mall, Farmers Plaza and Ali Mall.

    Cuteness and fun will surely reign in these three malls on October 28 in Araneta Center’s “A Goosebumps Halloween.” Inspired by the popular series by R.L. Stine, the celebration will feature a design-your-pumpkin activity, costume contest, magic show, trick-or-treat and other entertaining pursuits for eligible kids.

    With scores of stores participating in the trick-or-treat, the activity will not only provide sweet delights to the young ones but also an opportunity for the entire family to bond.

    The Halloween fever does not end there as “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” open in the Gateway Cineplex, Ali Mall Cineplex and other cinemas nationwide on October 31. Mixing comedy and horror, the film takes on the premise of Halloween monsters coming to life, which will surely delivers the laughs and scares to the whole family.
