So Google pulled a hilarious April fools joke for Gmail, promising motion controls for sending and opening email. Apparently the guys at ICT (Institute of Creative Technologies) MxR labs considered the video a challenge and set to work building a working app to replicate it. The result is some amazing nerd trickery via a hacked Kinect sensor that replicates all the hand gestures that was featured on the Google Motion Beta video. And yes, the video is real, their YouTube account has all the necessary links and software to make this impressive feat of nerdery available in your very home.
