If you didn’t think that smartphones and tablets were ridiculously fast enough, along comes NVIDIA and their insanely fast Quad core Tegra processors just unveiled at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, Spain. Not only did NVIDIA announce the existence of the new processor, it had a live demo unit to show off. In a blog post at the official NVIDIA site, Project Kal-El (the codename of the project) was detailed in full, including benchmark scores showing off the impressive power of the new tech. The demo included a 1440p video running on a 2560×1600 panel enabling mobile devices to output to the highest resolution monitors or tablets equipped with a 10.1-inch display with 300 DPI.
