Premium active lifestyle brand distributor and retailer Urban Rugged Gear (URGe) unveiled its new lineup of products last February 27 at its Makati store located in Greenbelt.
The company announced its sole distributorship of Mission Workshop, Ethnotek and Drifter bags and accessories as well as Watershot waterproof camera phone attachments. URGe is also the official distributor for OtterBox and LifeProof phone accessories, Goal Zero solar and mechanical powered outdoor devices, GoPro cameras and accessories, YurBuds sports headphones, Leef iBridge on-the-go storage, and B&O Play (Bang and Olufsen) high quality audio products.
Mission Workshop and Ethnotek have only been recently established here in the Philippines through URGe, which currently is still the only store that carries both brands.
Mission Workshop is a San Francisco-based maker of high quality bags and accessories specifically designed for on-the-go people especially those who cycle a lot. The stylish bags are backed with a lifetime warranty which automatically replaces the products should they fail (which URGe guarantees as a “very rare” occurrence).
To help introduce the product offerings to guests at the official launch, URGe invited broadcaster and outdoor enthusiast Paolo Abrera, the company’s brand ambassador for Mission Workshop which he says is perfect for cycling which he does to and from work.
Ethnotek bags offer stylish and durable travel companions from purses to large backpacks that sport unique handmade textiles from Ghana, Guatemala, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. Since the prints are made by artisans from the said locales, bags will rarely be the same in appearance. Each purchase of Ethnotek items will help in sustaining employment and helping folk art thrive in different places.
