The system consists of 2,404 solar panel pieces mounted on the establishment’s rooftop, making it the largest grid-tied photovoltaic installation in Iloilo. It is rated to produce 815MWh of energy a year equating to a savings of PHP 1-million a month, all the while eliminating 490 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. Components were sourced from Canadian Solar Inc. and Fronius International GmbH. Additionally, a Fronius monitoring system allows them to view real-time yield and system data online.
