Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), with One Maharlika Motors Sales and Services Corporation, celebrates the grand opening of Isuzu La Union to officially mark the presence of the marquee in the province.  Located at Barangay Paringao, Bauang, La Union, it serves the sales and aftersales needs of customers from 8AM to 5PM, Mondays to Saturdays.

Leading the private ribbon-cutting ceremony were the executives of IPC headed by its president, Hajime Koso, One Maharlika’s chairman and president Ben Garcia, and VP for admin Joyce Garcia. Also present were Justo Orros III, as representative of the La Union governor, and Bauang vice-mayor Henry Bacurnay Jr.

One Maharlika president Ben Garcia welcomed the guests and shared their reason for deciding to join Isuzu’s dealer network saying, “we chose Isuzu because we believe in the products of Isuzu.  Worldwide, it is known for its supremacy in diesel engine technology, and here in the Philippines, it is the number one brand.  That is why we are really grateful to IPC for trusting us and appointing us to serve the province of La Union. “

IPC president Hajime Koso delivered a special message saying, ” Today, I am proud that despite the difficult situations due to COVID-19 pandemic, Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s newest dealership, Isuzu La Union, is celebrating its grand opening day. Congratulations, Isuzu La Union!  Now our La Union customers will enjoy the benefit that our partnership brings —Isuzu’s world-class products and services.”

This is the 10th dealership to follow the Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS), to which Koso said, “This new dealership design follows Isuzu’s Global Dealership Standards that gives importance not just to sales but to overall customer journey.  Starting from their inquiry, sales, after-sales service up to their continuous return to Isuzu showroom, the dealer will be able to provide customer support in every step of the way.”

Isuzu La Union has a total lot area of 8,607sqm with a showroom capable of displaying 1 truck and 4 light commercial vehicles, and a service area that can accommodate at least 2 trucks and 5 light commercial vehicles.

Believing Isuzu La Union is a factor in the progress of the province, Koso said, “Also today, you are not just opening an Isuzu dealership.  You are also opening your doors to being a contributor to the growth of this province with its major potentials in the fields of Agriculture and Tourism.  We are now officially part of the province’s strive for progress.  With our vehicles, we will contribute to the mobility of its people, of its goods, and to its thriving agritourism.”

La Union Governor Pacoy Ortega, in his video message, congratulated Isuzu with the message, “This opening reinvigorates hope as we hold on to our solidarity in rising above the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Despite the uncertainties and adversities at present, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide the highest sense of public service for our constituents, through your help, our partners in the industry development and investment.

For its part, Isuzu La Union’s vice president for administration Joyce Garcia acknowledged Koso’s message with, “together, we can help on another in our nation-building, catering to the needs of our community as One Maharlika will be the bridging vessel to provide the logistical solutions to our people”.

Koso thanked One Maharlika executives and board of directors for choosing to be part of the Isuzu dealer network and expressed confidence in their leadership in bringing in not just more sales but excellent aftersales services to all Isuzu customers in La Union.
