Different variants and conversions will appear at AFEX, PHILBEX Cebu, PURVEYR Fair, and the DCPH Grandparents Day Pit Stop this September.
Toyota Motor Philippines is showcasing the flexibility of the Next Generation Tamaraw across four events in Metro Manila and Cebu, highlighting how the vehicle can be configured for different business, commercial, and creative applications.
Since its introduction in 2024, the Tamaraw has been positioned around versatility, with a highly configurable platform that can be adapted for passenger transport, cargo hauling, refrigerated logistics, and purpose-built mobile businesses. This September, Toyota is using multiple displays and conversions to show how that flexibility can translate into real-world uses.
Business configurations at AFEX
From September 9 to 12, the Tamaraw will be featured at the Asia Food Expo at the World Trade Center, where Toyota will highlight applications for the food and beverage sector.
Four configurations will be on display: the Tamaraw Utility Van, Tamaraw GL Dropside, Tamaraw Wing Van, and Tamaraw Refrigerator Van. These setups demonstrate how the platform can support different operational needs, from general transport to temperature-sensitive deliveries and mobile business use.
AFEX focuses on food processing, packaging, handling machinery, equipment, and technology, making it a natural setting for Toyota to present the Tamaraw as a flexible commercial vehicle for entrepreneurs and business operators.
Construction and test drives in Cebu
The Tamaraw will also appear at PHILBEX Cebu from September 10 to 13 at the IEC Convention Center Cebu, with a GL Dropside variant representing applications in construction and building-related work.
Visitors will have the opportunity to test drive the vehicle during the event, giving business owners and operators a closer look at how the Tamaraw can function as a workhorse in demanding commercial environments.
The participation connects the vehicle with Cebu’s expanding construction and design sector, where adaptable transport platforms can support equipment movement, site work, and other operational requirements.
From workhorse to DJ booth and flower store
The Tamaraw takes a more creative turn at PURVEYR Fair on September 12 and 13 at the World Trade Center Tent.
Two GL Dropside units will be transformed into a DJ booth and a pop-up flower store, using the open rear section as the foundation for mobile setups that go beyond traditional passenger and cargo transport. A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed in support of Waves For Water, showing how the vehicle can serve as both a functional business space and a platform for advocacy.
The DJ booth will feature sets from Waff, Roy De Borja, Okami, Average Bri, Nix Damn P!, and J Dope on September 12, followed by Okami, ADMV, Michiko, Nix Damn P!, Butta B, and Yela Renee on September 13.
Tamaraw joins the diecast community
On the same weekend, a Tamaraw GL Dropside will be displayed at the Die Cast PH Grandparents Day Pit Stop at Cash & Carry Makati.
The appearance places the Tamaraw in a different enthusiast setting, with the vehicle presented not only as a practical business platform but also as a possible source of inspiration for customization, artistic expression, and diecast collectors.
Across all four events, the Tamaraw’s different configurations reinforce its role as a modular platform that can be adapted to widely varied needs, from logistics and construction to retail, events, and creative applications.
