Parent company Hyundai Motor Group (Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors Corporation) donated $ US600,000 (equivalent to P25M) to the Philippine Red Cross, while HARI extended Php25M to aid the national government’s program of relief, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of the communities in the Visayas which were devastated by super-howler Yolanda.

In addition, the 41 Hyundai dealerships all over the country are setting up Sagip Boxes for the contributions of their customers and the general public to help sustain the entire nation’s efforts to bring help and hope to the ravaged provinces.

According to HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, “We empathize with our countrymen in these most trying of times, with a sincere hope and prayer that we will rise above all these and shine with pride and honor as a Filipino winning against all odds. We are confident in the government’s resolve to facilitate enabling measures to fast track recovery.”
