Ford Philippines has just announced its October retail sales of 1,625 vehicles, led by the Ranger and Everest.
The Ranger posted October sales of 725 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up 12 percent to 9,216 vehicles. The new Ranger lineup, launched in September, features two new-generation powertrains–the 2.0L Bi-Turbo and 2.0L Single Turbo engines, as well as the proven Duratorq engine–helping bolster the Ranger’s wide appeal among Filipino customers.
The high-performance Ranger Raptor, which was launched the same month as the Ranger, is also helping attract new customers looking for a Ranger with immense and unmatched off-road capability.
The Everest mid-size SUV recorded sales of 560 vehicles, driving its year-to-date sales to 4,960 vehicles. The Everest features impressive off-road capability, on-road comfort, advanced technology, bold design, and a comfortable, quiet and refined interior.
The EcoSport mini-SUV contributed to the October retail performance with sales of 274 vehicles, driving year-to-date total to 4,597 vehicles. The new EcoSport features a choice of two highly capable powertrains–the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, and the 1.5-liter Ti-VCT engine.
The new Mustang posted sales of 30 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up 9 percent to 369 vehicles.
“Our Big Three nameplates – Ranger, Everest, and EcoSport – continue to drive our overall sales. We’re expecting to finish the year strong, supported by a number of experiential test drive events planned around the country that allow prospective customers to personally experience our full Ford lineup,” said Bert Lessard, managing director, Ford Philippines.
