In a fitting end to a great and storied career, NASA’s Endeavor space shuttle made one last trip through the streets of LA to its resting place at the California Science Center last week. Its last mission, dubbed Mission 26 saw it travel 19 miles via land, towed by a truck was straightforward, and saw no hitches. The space shuttle flew a total of 25 missions in space between 1992 and 2011. Budget constraints has seen the USA’s Space agency, NASA, halt the space shuttle program.
