    Tumblr hits 100M blog count

    The Tumblr staff recently posted an infographic about the website’s timeline (below), accompanied by an animated GIF announcing that the number of blogs hosted on Tumblr has reached a whopping one hundred million (100,000,000).

    The Next Web reported that as of last week, Tumblr now contains more than 44.6 billion posts. This is a huge leap from the 50 million-post count in April last year.
