    Life Builder Fellowship to subsidize the SSS contributions of church volunteers

    The Social Security System (SSS) and Life Builder Fellowship formally sealed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under the Contribution Subsidy Provider Program (CSPP)

    SSS Vice President for Luzon Central 2 Division Gloria Corazon Andrada said that Life Builder Fellowship pledged to sponsor the monthly SSS contributions of an initial group of ten dedicated volunteers for a minimum of six months, with plans to extend the support to more volunteers in the future

    “Many volunteers generously give their time and effort without any compensation,” Andrada said. “Through partnerships like this, we ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to social protection,” she added.

    Once the CSPP beneficiaries meet the qualifying conditions, they will now gain access to SSS benefits such as sickness, maternity, disability, retirement, death and funeral, including loan privileges such as salary and calamity loan.

    “Life Builder Fellowship’s effort reflects the church’s holistic mission—providing not only spiritual guidance but also the long-term financial stability of its members through active social security membership. Their strong dedication in advancing social welfare is truly commendable,” Andrada said.

    Life Builder Fellowship’s Head Pastor Jesus Bagasin Jr. expressed his support for the initiative, stating, “We believe that serving God should not come at the cost of one’s future.     Visa strengthens financial inclusion for SMEs with innovative payment solutions

    Visa, a world leader in digital payments is looking to expand support for Filipino small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which, despite their economic contribution, still face significant barriers to financial inclusion and growth. While making up more than 99% of all business enterprises in the country and generating 66% of total employment, SMEs in the Philippines continue to face significant challenges, including access to funding. 

    A global funding gap

    Visa’s recent study reveals significant challenges faced by SMEs, particularly in accessing capital, with these businesses receiving less than 10% of total corporate loans. Cash flow concerns are prevalent, as 44% of SMEs highlight it as a top issue, and over half report having reserves that would last less than six months. Additionally, other hurdles include device and hardware cost for acceptance and lengthy application processes for card holders. Fraud prevention was also cited as a key concern by 33% of those accepting cards.

    The financial landscape further complicates these challenges, with the International Finance Corporation reporting a USD5.2 trillion global funding gap for SMEs annually, predominantly in East Asia and the Pacific. The Philippines exemplifies this issue, with a USD221-billion funding demand against a USD15-billion supply. Despite mandates to increase SME lending, utilization remains low due to informal business practices, limited credit history, and financial literacy gaps.

    Women-led SMEs across the region face additional social barriers, including gender bias in lending and limited property rights, which restrict their ability to use financial collateral. Moreover, the added burden of household responsibilities can hinder their capacity to effectively manage and expand their businesses. However, Visa’s research shows promising outcomes, revealing that 51% of women-led SMEs and 56% of micro-businesses in the Philippines experienced revenue growth through the adoption of digital payments.

    Innovation in SME support and funding

    Recognizing the crucial role SMEs play in economic development, Visa, through the Visa Foundation, previously launched a $100-million small business accelerator initiative aimed at advancing digital financial inclusion, stimulating job creation, and increasing access to capital for SMEs in Asia Pacific, including the Philippines. 

    This program has reached an estimated 29.6 million SMES in the region, including 10.9 million women-led SMEs. The program is complemented by Visa’s Practical Business Skills program, which equips SME owners with essential knowledge in cash flow management, digital payment integration, and financial planning. 

    Visa has been actively working with local partners to launch innovative products designed to expand financial inclusion for SMEs. Recently, it signed a new deal with CIMB Bank Philippines to launch a new Visa Business Debit Card.     Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 ventures into Waifei Peninsula and unveils exclusive anniversary rewards on June 6

    Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse has announced that the urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 2.0 “Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn” will launch on June 6, marking the grand beginning of the game’s Season 2 and its official release on Xbox. In this expansive update, Proxies will venture into the all-new Waifei Peninsula alongside trusted allies such as Yixuan from Yunkui Summit, revitalize the Suibian Temple nestled within the bustling Failume Heights, and take on more challenging Hollow combat in a more open and spacious environment. Guided by Yi Xuan, the High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit, Proxies will further uncover the hidden secrets of Phaethon and experience new Hollow exploration gameplay that harnesses the forces of Ether. The region’s main city Failume Heights thrives near the Lemnian Hollow, renowned for the rare resource Porcelume. It offers distinctive tea houses, pawnshops, and dessert stalls, inviting Proxies to immerse themselves in the local atmosphere. Meanwhile, Proxies will take on management of their very own Suibian Temple, upgrade the temple’s facilities and earn in-game rewards by dispatching Bangboos, completing commissions, and collecting resources from the Hollows.

    The Lemnian Hollow is an area rich in resources, yet fraught with danger. Due to the perilous Miasma widespread in the Hollow, formidable foes will enter the Miasmic Field state under certain conditions, gaining shields and enhanced abilities. To counter this, several powerful allies will join the roster. Yixuan, also known as the Grandmaster, will join the combat as an S-Rank Agent. With her unique Attribute Auric Ink and Specialty Rupture, Yixuan ignores enemies’ Defense and deals all damage based on her Sheer Force, which can be increased according to her Attack and Max HP. She also utilizes a special mechanic called Adrenaline instead of just regular Energy, and possesses 2 distinct Ultimate modes for varied combat scenarios, bringing Void Hunter-level prowess to the team. Joining Yixuan is Ju Fufu, the senior disciple of Yunkui Summit, who will debut as an S-Rank Fire Stun Agent. Ju Fufu and her mighty weapon Hu Wei can accumulate Might and Momentum points to deal both Physical and Fire damage. Her Chain Attack grants the entire team the Tiger’s Roar effect, boosting the squad’s CRIT DMG as well as the damage of Chain Attacks and Ultimates.

    Also stepping into the spotlight is Pan Yinhu, Yunkui Summit’s A-Rank Physical Defense Agent, who proves that even a kitchen-savvy panda can be a force to reckon with. Completing the squad is Belion, an S-Rank Bangboo from Yunkui Summit. Meanwhile, the S-Rank Ether Support Astra Yao and the S-Rank Physical Defense Caesar will return to the Version 2.0 banners.

    Apart from new narrative and characters, Hollow Zero: Lost Void will also be updated with new commissions and the possibility to equip multiple Gears to different Agents, adding more strategic options to battles. In Version 2.0, Proxies will be able to enter the cinema in Lumina Square to enjoy movies with different characters during the Gravitational Attraction event and obtain exclusive rewards by completing certain tasks, including an A-Rank W-Engine Reel Projector. In the Soul of Steel: Golden Bond event, Proxies can pilot sleek mechs into the Hollows, take on a variety of challenges, and earn abundant rewards. 

    To support more convenient exploration across the expanded New Eridu and Hollows, Version 2.0 will introduce a brand-new 3D map and enhanced navigation features. The newly implemented Fissure Beacons will allow Proxies to restore HP, revive Agents, and teleport, allowing Proxies to resume combat more efficiently. Furthermore, new players who complete Season 1 Chapter 2 Interlude can directly unlock and switch to Season 2’s main storyline.

    Beyond new content and optimizations, Version 2.0 will deliver generous anniversary rewards in appreciation of the players’ continued support. Proxies will be able to choose one S-Rank Agent and one S-Rank W-Engine from the Stable Channel for free, along with receiving 1,600 Polychromes, as well as an anniversary-exclusive title and avatar upon the Version 2.0 release.     Epson WorkForce Enterprise business inkjet printers achieve 5-star ratings from DataMaster Lab

    Epson, a global leader in professional printing, has been awarded the highest rating from DataMaster Lab in 2025, with a full five stars for the Epson WorkForce Enterprise Series AM-C400 and AM-C550. 

    DataMaster Lab has tested office and production equipment in real-world business scenarios since 2009, using international standards to ensure reliable, comparable results. Its evaluations of print quality strictly follow ISO methodologies, providing an objective and comprehensive analysis of device capabilities.

    DataMaster Lab’s evaluation concluded that the Epson WorkForce Enterprise printers demonstrate consistent reliability, performing steadily throughout the testing process.     Canon introduces imagePROGRAF TC-21, a desktop large-format printer

    Canon has announced the new imagePROGRAF TC-21, a new compact desktop large format printer. As a step up, the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF) in the imagePROGRAF TC-21, has been enhanced to meet varied printing needs such as production of publicity materials, as well as architectural and design drawings. The printer’s tiltable panel and flexibility in installation location improve the user experience as adjustments can be made easily. For the first time, a large-format printer in the imagePROGRAF series features recycled steel in part of its body, making it more environmentally friendly. 

    Tiltable Operation Panel for Easier Viewing

    The imagePROGRAF TC-21 is designed to be as space-saving as possible. For example, print-related operations, such as paper setting and ink filling, can be performed from the front of the printer. Additionally, it features a tilt-type operation panel that offers comfortable and enhanced usability, as the angle can be adjusted to suit the user’s preferences. Even if the imagePROGRAF TC-21 is installed on a low shelf, users will still find it easy to operate. 

    Wide Range of Media Sizes and Types

To express their creativity, users can utilise the free software, “PosterArtist,” to create posters and flyers that help bring their vision to life.

    Environmentally Friendly Materials

    As part of efforts to care for the environment, approximately 5% of the steel and 40% of the resin were recycled and integrated into certain parts of the printer’s body. Additionally, the product packaging is made from recyclable cardboard instead of polystyrene foam. With high environmental performance, the TC-21 has been registered as a gold product under the U.S. Environmental Assessment System EPEAT.

    Xiaomi YU7 launches as a high-performance luxury SUV packed with innovation

    Xiaomi has officially unveiled the YU7, its first SUV and second vehicle in its electric vehicle lineup, following the SU7 sedan. Derived from the phrase “御风而行” meaning “riding the wind,” the YU7 is designed for modern elites who demand power, elegance, and cutting-edge technology in a commanding SUV package.

    Distinctive Design and Proportions

    Built from the ground up, the Xiaomi YU7 measures 4,999mm long with a generous 3,000mm wheelbase. It carries a bold design with a low, sporty stance and signature proportions—3:1 wheel-to-body and 1.25:1 width-to-height ratios—that signal luxury and performance.

    The sculpted clamshell aluminum hood, the largest in mass production, conceals a 141-liter front trunk. Xiaomi’s redesigned waterdrop headlights now feature hollowed elements with integrated air channels, while the rear halo taillights use ultra-red lighting for dramatic effect. New electric-flush door handles extend automatically when the key is near, enhancing both aerodynamics and convenience.

    The SUV boasts a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.245Cd, made possible by a host of airflow optimizations, including an active grille with 100 adjustable louvers and a hollowed rear spoiler.

    Color and Finish with Character

    Xiaomi introduces three striking colors for the YU7:

    • Emerald Green – Inspired by Colombian emeralds, this high-saturation color uses a dual-layer paint system with metallic flakes and pearl topcoat for a gem-like finish.
    • Titanium Silver – A modern metallic with enhanced light play for a refined, performance-inspired look.
    • Lava Orange – A vibrant carry-over from the SU7, transforming under light for a dynamic appearance.

    Inside, the Xiaomi YU7 offers a Dual-Zone Surround Luxury Cabin with generous space, premium materials, and advanced interfaces. It integrates Xiaomi’s new HyperVision Panoramic Display, projecting driving and media information across the windshield via three Mini LED panels, creating a cockpit-like experience for both driver and passenger. This 1.1-meter display offers retina-grade resolution, glare reduction, and customizable content zones.

    Rear passengers aren’t left out either—dual zero-gravity front seats feature massage functions, while rear power-reclining seats offer up to 135° of lounge-like comfort. Surfaces are clad in OEKO-TEX Class 1-certified Nappa leather and plush soft-touch materials.

    Thanks to Xiaomi’s advanced CTB battery integration, cabin space is maximized. Rear passengers enjoy 77mm headroom and 73mm legroom, while total cargo capacity reaches 1,970 liters.

    At its core, the YU7 delivers 690PS, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds with a top speed of 253kph, powered by the evolved Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus. This system uses segmented magnetic steel for greater efficiency and higher torque (528Nm) and horsepower.

    Supporting this is a premium chassis featuring double wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, air springs with five height levels, and Brembo brakes. A turning radius of 5.7 meters means surprising agility for a vehicle of this size. The adjustable damping system adapts instantly to road conditions, balancing comfort and sportiness.

    Class-Leading Range and Charging

    The YU7 comes in Standard, Pro, and Max variants, all featuring an 800V silicon carbide platform. Even the base model delivers a remarkable 835km CLTC range using a 96.3kWh battery—making it the longest-range electric SUV in its class.

    Charging is equally impressive: a 10% to 80% top-up takes just 12 minutes, and you can gain 620km of range in 15 minutes using a fast charger.

    Built-In Safety from the Ground Up

    Xiaomi reengineered safety with the YU7, utilizing a steel-aluminum hybrid body that features the new 2200MPa ultra-high-strength steel co-developed with industry partners. This material is 40% stronger than conventional hot-formed steel and is used in door beams, A- and B-pillars, and underbody crossbeams.

    Crash protection includes a longer crumple zone up front and high structural integrity at the rear, while a bulletproof coating shields the underbody and battery from damage. The car has passed over 50 crash test scenarios, exceeding both Chinese and international standards.

    Smarter by Design: Hyper-Integrated Digital Architecture

    At the heart of the YU7’s intelligence is Xiaomi’s Four-in-One Domain Control Module, combining the driving, cockpit, central control, and telematics systems into one compact unit. This reduces the number of components by 75%, improves efficiency, and boosts range by up to 16 km.

    The car’s digital experience is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor, offering 700 TOPS of computing power. Features such as dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and a UWB key make the YU7 a connected powerhouse, ready for smart homes and IoT integration.

    Full-Suite Driver Assistance and Training

    Every YU7 comes standard with LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. This suite enables high-resolution object detection—even in poor visibility—and supports advanced driver assistance features.

    To complement this, Xiaomi offers Advanced Driving Training to help owners safely explore the vehicle’s capabilities, including modules for slalom, emergency braking, and handling on wet surfaces.
