The intuitively designed Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP1 brings a vast world of possibilities for musicians, together with the newly launched rekordbox version 5.0. Its next-generation KORETECH engine with an updated algorithm makes rekordbox more stable and responsive, making on-the-fly customization and track searching a breeze. The upper section controls key and beat sync status and allows the selection of tracks. The lower section features 32 tactile, multicolored performance pads, 16 on each deck, with the lowest latency on any DJ controller. All 32 pads are available to be customized with different samples, hot cues or effects. The Slide FX strip allows DJs to select and combine multiple effects with a move of a finger. The pads also support a keyboard mode which allows musicians to use the pads to trigger semitones as one would with a piano or a synthesizer.
