GBPlay, Inc., through its local arm GameClub, will be holding the CrossFire Stars National Finals and CFS Invitational Manila for three consecutive days at the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center Function Hall 3: October 14 for the nationals and October 15 to 16 for the invitationals.
For CrossFire Stars National Finals, a total of 16 teams will first partake in a tournament where they’ll be playing remotely via online link. The last four teams standing will then head to SMX on October 14 to determine the country’s champion. A total of USD 20,000 is in the prize pool, with the champion to represent the Philippines in the upcoming CFS Grand Finals in China on December 2 to 4.
Meanwhile, the CFS Invitational Manila will be the country’s first time hosting an international CrossFire event. Teams from the Philippines, Brazil, Vietnam, and China will be competing for the USD 30,000 prize pool, while those in attendance will have the chance to win in-game items and merchandise.
Additionally, there will be a cosplay competition on October 14, 2016 starting at 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Participants must come dressed as characters from the games CrossFire, Love Beat, or Weapons of War. Out of all registrants, only 10 participants from each game title will undergo final judging.
