If you haven’t noticed, it’s April Fool’s day today, and Google has always been on the top of the curve when it comes to pranking the entire internet. Today, it’s created something that people who grew up in the 80’s will definitely recognize and appreciate – Google Maps for the NES system. Google says that their newest product will be able to connect to the net using dial-up technology, with most of the heavy computing done via Google’s servers. The product is obviously fake, but you can check out the 8-bit version of Google Maps by going here. Don’t forget to drop down to street view for a fantastic surprise.
