Here is a roundup of the new features of the 2018 Pioneer receivers:
Easy content sharing
The ARC Bluetooth Hub introduces simplified bluetooth device management. Utilizing Pioneer’s ARC mobile application will enable users to add and remove Bluetooth devices with ease. The application also provides convenient toggles for different Bluetooth connection modes (wireless audio, hands-free calling or both) as well as provides the option to select different phones for music library accessibility.
In order for everyone in the car to stay connected, the bluetooth-enabled audio receiver models also support connectivity for up to 10 smartphones. This eliminates the need for constant deleting and paring due to slot limitations. Syncing a thousand phone contacts now also takes 10 seconds instead the previous 180— a significant reduction of almost 95%
Carpool karaoke made possible
For avid fans of karaoke, the DEH-S5050BT and the FH-S705BT transform to personal karaoke machines on the go in just four simple steps—pressing and holding the Search key, connecting the microphone to the auxiliary hack, selecting a soundtrack from digital sources like USB and Spotify, and increasing the mic volume through the head unit’s menu. For convenience, both the inputs are automatically mixed.
A strong bass contender
The DEH-S5050BT, DEH-S4050BT, FH-S705BT, FH-S506BT, FH-S505BT, and MVH-S305BT all feature a Dynamic Bass Enhancer function that’s easily activated via a dedicated button. To provide unparalleled flexibility that complements different music genres, the media receivers also feature two levels of enhancements (high and low). The integrated Super Bass EQ and loudness control, on the other hand, can be readily used for bass output customization.
Connectivity and usability with ease
For utmost convenience, the upgraded 255-segment LCD screen is able to display more information from the current time to the currently playing source. Android users are given the option of USB auto pairing via the ARC app while compatibility with iAP2 support and certification make connectivity to iPhones even more seamless.
Other features include: 13-band graphic equaliser, 96kHz/24-bit FLAC file playback, Spotify music-streaming support, Advanced Sound Retriever®, MIXTRAX DJ technology.
Pioneer’s new CD and digital media receivers are now available at Pioneer’s authorized dealers.
