Hello, night owls!
We just stumbled upon Globe Telecom’s iPhone 6 order page by accident, so we’re sharing the happy news with you (or at least those of you who are still up). We are assuming that like they did with previous iPhone releases, the company is already taking advance orders before their official launch to drum up the excitement and to ensure they have sufficient stock (which is never enough) come release day. We are assuming this as we haven’t received official info yet.
The sign-up page is pretty straight forward, and similar to what they’ve used in the past. The landing page makes you choose between the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Click on the Register button, and that will lead you to the page where you can choose thespecific color and storage capacity you want. After asking a few questions about your account, you are asked to input your email address to register your intent. Once you verify the address via the URL given in an email the send, you are then asked to input your mobile number (if you are a current subscriber) and then asked to input the verification code they send via SMS. After you input your code, you just have to confirm your personal details and viola! You have your precious reference number! The only catch though, is that they didn’t indicate a timeline, so you will just have to wait for any updates they will send (most probably sometime end November).
Anyhoo, here’s the link so you don’t have to search for it: http://device.globe.com.ph/
Will update you with the developments as soon as we get official word from our friends from Globe.
