Along with the Xperia Tablet S, Sony has also unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia T. Sony has not spared anything with this particular device – it’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, has a 13-megapixel camera, 4.55-inch,  1,280 x 720 resolution HD Reality Display with Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine on-board.

It’ll ship initially with Android 4.0 ICS but Sony promises it’ll get an Android 4.1 Jellybean upgrade shortly. The overall design still screams of their Arc smartphone, but hey, why change it if it’s not broke, right? Sony has also said that this particular device will come sporting with their quick-connect technology that uses NFC to connect to another Sony product by just a tap of the smartphone. There’s a 60-day free music trial for Xperia buyers for Sony’s Music Unlimited service, unfortunately it’s not clear if the Philippines is included in that particular bundle. All of that in a package that’s 9.35mm thin and weighing only 139 grams. No word on pricing or availability as of yet, but we’ll check in again once there’s word.
