The Grammy Award-winning producer and DJ, Afrojack, tied-up with Razer to turn to the Razer Blade Pro and Razer DeathStalker Ultimate for his music productions. The result was the Afrojack Production Studio that works with FL Studio to make writing and producing studio-quality dance music easier.
“The journey to becoming a global icon and Grammy Award winner has no doubt been fueled by Afrojack’s talent and unwavering passion, but also by his clear obsession with the most advanced gear in the world,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. “It’s our mutual preoccupation with the pursuit of perfection that brought us together to champion new music technology, and it’s our common love of gaming that has made the relationship particularly rewarding.”
The Afrojack Production Studio was exclusively designed for the award-winning Razer Switchblade User Interface that is available in the Razer Blade Pro, which includes project templates containing samples and effects that Afrojack used in his music.
Recently, Afrojack was seen using a Razer Blade Pro laptop on his homecoming performance at the Heineken Music Hall during the Amsterdam Dance Event.
“I’ve been getting so much out of my Razer Blade Pro over the past several months—at gigs, at home and everywhere in-between,” says Afrojack. “The new Afrojack Studio Production app is going to be super useful, and I’m excited to offer it to aspiring DJs and producers who love FL studio as much as I do.”
Aside from its partnership with Afrojack, Razer had recently signed deals with other world-class DJs such as Borgore and Flux Pavilion to continue using Razer systems and peripherals while working with the brand on music technologies.
