Intel Corporation will held its annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. Intel is planning to discuss its leadership in computing, from the Internet of Things to the data center, and how the company is becoming a competitor and innovator in communications.
Intel will also discuss its efforts in communications, including LTE news, since Intel focuses largely on LTE, providing consumers with more choice. Merrifield, a 22nm Silvermont-based chip for Android tablets and phones, will be launched in the congress as well. Recent news, further details on Intel’s strategies in tablets and mobile devices, will slowly roll out as the days go by. Consumers should expect Android/Intel Architecture news as Intel works on growing the app ecosystem, along with its developers to provide new tools.
