In an effort to draw in more online customers, eCommerce platform Lazada has cooked up a variety of new updates.
The first is that they will now be offering free shipping to addresses within Metro Manila with no minimum purchase required. However, do take note that orders 30 kgs and above will be charged with a corresponding bulky item shipping fee. This is good news for those who’ve always had to order an additional, miniscule item such as a folder or shampoo on top of what they actually want to buy just so they can meet the previous PHP 1,000 free shipping minimum.
The offer arrives just in time for their Super Brands Sale. Currently ongoing until July 11, customers can enjoy up to 80 percent discounts on selected items. Some of the more notable ones include: Samsung Home Theater System at PHP 4,699; Nescafe Dolce Gusto at PHP 2,999 with a free box of Cappuccino capsules; BCBGeneration shoes starting at PHP 1,980; SM Store items starting at PHP 498; Casio watches from PHP 845; Pampers Baby-dry Diapers from PHP 540; and Tresemme Keratin Smooth Hair Conditioner at PHP 252.
Lastly, the new Lazada app update has been rolled out to mobile customers. Featuring expanded menus and tabs, online shoppers can now find the item they want easier and faster. At a glance, customers can also get access to app-only deals, top brands, flash sales, new arrivals, and product recommendations.
The product detail page has also been reorganized to cater to every discerning shopper’s needs when viewing an item: product highlights, features, reviews and ratings in one go.
