Locally launched on June 26, the first-ever Taiwan Excellence campaign featured world-class quality of the 54 participating Taiwanese brands–175 products from information and communications technologies (ICT), home and living, and sports and leisure products–through its “Excellent Lifestyles” showcase at the Block Atrium in SM North EDSA last June 27 to 29.
Taiwan Excellence, which was established in 1992 is a symbol of quality for Taiwanese brands across Asia. It gives the local consumer market the power to identify the highest quality products, and raise brand awareness and preference for Taiwanese brands. These brands include Acer, Asus, BenQ, Transcend, Teco, Tatung, HCG, and SYM.
“We plan to introduce Taiwan Excellence to the Philippines so that Filipinos who buy our products may have an assurance that they are getting the best and highest quality products. Taiwan Excellence is an assurance of quality and innovation, and allows Filipino consumers to make educated decisions about their purchases,” said Walter M. S. Yeh, Executive Vice President of TAITRA.
Just recently, Taiwan Excellence launched a cross-media digital campaign “TAIWAN EXCELLENCE, Close to You.” Coinciding with the FIFA World Cup 2014, this concept was introduced to emerging markets such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and Mainland China, for consumers to be able to share the thrill of playing soccer.
