“The Final Pitch,” the country’s first and only business reality TV show is now accepting applications for the show’s fourth season.
The show connects aspiring entrepreneurs with some of the country’s most established investors and businessmen. The show has already featured multiple tech startups in the country such as Gypsy, an advertising platform for TNVS which targets consumers using facial recognition.
“Every season is different and has something new to offer. Our investors are looking forward to discovering our country’s newest set of rising entrepreneurs and hear their pitches and amazing stories,” said John Aguilar, creator and host, “Final Pitch.”
Startup founders will make a pitch to the investors-judges after they were chosen from the pool of applicants. After passing the first hurdle, they will proceed to the boot camp for mentoring by some of the country’s premier business personalities. The challenges will allow investors to look into the founder’s character and personality, essentials in running a business. The show concludes with investors-judges accepting or rejecting the founders’ final pitch.
Set to return as investor-judges are William Tiu Lim, founder and CEO, Mega Global Corp., Rep. Mikee Romero, 1-Pacman Party-List, Mark Vernon, founder, Tagcash Ltd. and co-founder Philippine AirAsia, and Michael Dargani, president and CEO, Baskin Robbins Phils. Mica Tan, CEO, MFT Group of Companies is also expected to return to the show.
“If the previous season’s entrepreneurs who joined the show are any indication, we can expect more sophisticated and mature startups coming into the fold as they see ‘The Final Pitch’ as a legitimate way to raise funding for their next stage of growth,” said Aguilar. “If they are exciting businesses with the potential to create exponential impact at scale, we want them on the show.”
“The Final Pitch” is accepting applications until July 8, 2019. Applicants can fill out and submit an online entry form and submit their one-minute pitch video. The fourth season premieres September on CNN Philippines.
