Huawei, a company that has quietly been making its way into the local smartphone scene, has just launched the Ascend G6, the latest in their line of Android devices here in the Philippines.
The Ascend G6 is a 3G Android smartphone running 4.3 Jellybean. It has a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 4GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM more than enough for daily word tasks and entertainment on the side. Users in need of more storage have the option of increasing space by up to 32GB via a microSD expansion slot. Its 4.5-inch screen has a resolution of 540×960 pixels, for pixel density of about 245ppi.
Huawei has improved the vanilla Android interface with its own Emotion UI 2.0 Lite, giving users a better-looking experience with improved access to apps and services. Shutterbugs will appreciate the G6’s 8MP main camera with a secondary 5MP snapper, the former allowing them to take up to 720p video.
This solid mid-range phone is available now at the extremely attractive price of PHP9,990. If you want to give it a look, head over to the newly-opened Huawei Brand Shop at the SM North Edsa Annex Cyberzone.
