Remember that unique, 5-inch 4:3 smartphone LG teased a couple of days ago? Well, the LG Optimus Vu has finally been revealed, including its much sought after specifications. The Vu has a 5-inch IPS display panel, is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, has an internal memory capacity of about 32GB and has a pretty beefy 2,080 mAh battery. LG says the unique 4:3 aspect ratio makes it easier to view documents, books, internet and multimedia content. The Vu also has LTE right off the bat, which strengthens LG’s smartphone LTE offering. The Vu will initially launch with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) off the bat but the firm says an upgrade to 4.0 ICS is in the works.
