EastWest Ageas has been Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the second consecutive year, reinforcing the life insurer’s commitment to building a workplace culture centered on employee well-being, engagement, and professional growth.

The company earned the recognition after receiving an employee satisfaction score of 85% from its head office employees and field sales personnel—20 percentage points higher than the average employer benchmark. Great Place To Work® is a global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership practices that drive employee engagement and organizational performance.

Building a people-first workplace

According to Lois Dalida, chief people and culture officer of EastWest Ageas, the certification reflects the company’s continuing efforts to create an environment where employees can thrive both professionally and personally.

“We are humbled and grateful to receive the certification once more. At EastWest Ageas, we value fostering a workplace culture that ensures our people thrive both in their professional and personal lives. This milestone only pushes us to continue pursuing this purpose and explore more ways to live up to our status as a Great Place to Work,” Dalida said.

Among the initiatives supporting this culture is the company’s WFH 2.0 program, which allows employees to work remotely while reporting on-site twice a week. EastWest Ageas said the arrangement helps employees better balance their professional responsibilities with their personal lives.

The company also invests in employee development through training programs that strengthen professional skills while encouraging employees to contribute fresh ideas and take ownership of initiatives within their respective teams.

Employee feedback reflects positive workplace experience

EastWest Ageas said its internal employee metrics reflect the impact of its people-first initiatives.

According to the company, 94% of employees said they felt welcomed when they joined the organization. It also reported that its time-to-fill hiring rate increased from 50% to 69% over the past year, reflecting improvements in its recruitment efforts.

The company noted that these results align with broader findings from Great Place To Work®, whose research indicates that employees in certified organizations are more likely to experience supportive leadership, fair compensation, opportunities for career advancement, and a positive workplace environment.
