The term “Mini PC” doesn’t really do justice to just how small this full-blown desktop device is. Arriving in a package about the same size as the 3G USB dongles of yore, the Intel Compute Stick promises a complete computing experience in an affordable, HDMI plug-and-play form factor. Its body houses a quad-core Intel Bay Trail Atom processor paired with either 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable ROM for the Windows variant; and 1GB RAM with 8GB expandable ROM for the Linux one. It also has Wi-Fi, USB and microUSB ports, and an AC power adapter, making it perfect for anything from a DIY home entertainment system to working on-the-go.
