Lenovo has just announced the impending availability of the latest additions to the growing PC+ market. The Miix 8 and Miix 11 are both full-Windows machines that are seriously making us rethink our choices in mobile computing.
The 8″ version of the Miix 2 is a thin, light tablet, tipping the scales at 350g, and less than a third of an inch thick. It packs a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 Baytrail processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. It also has a SIM card slot for always-on 3G connectivity wherever you have a wireless signal. They will be available starting the last week of Feb for PHP 21,999.
The second device, the Miix 2 11″ is still a little bit of a mystery, as all we got about it was a release date and price (PHP47,990), as well as a quick list of specs, but the company hasn’t disappointed us before, so we should expect it to be sufficiently awesome as well.
Check the full specs after the jump.
